Lamentations for Holy Week: The New Zealand premiere performance of Cavalieri's pioneering Lamentations of Jeremiah. Alongside this we present the Holy Saturday Responsories of the experimental Ferrara composer Gesualdo, and the exquisite setting of Miserere by Allegri - justly recognised as one of the finest examples of the art of the Italian Renaissance.
